Key Responsibilities of the RN - Obstetrics

• Provide high-quality care in antepartum, labor and delivery, post-partum, and level 2 nursery settings
• Ensure adherence to AWHONN staffing guidelines based on patient acuity
• Participate in on-unit learning and 3-day orientation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate medical records
• Assist during surges in other departments as required

Requirements of the RN - Obstetrics

• Active IL RN license or confirmation of application initiation
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, 2 years preferred
• Certification in BLS and NRP
• EFM competency
• Experience in L&D, post-partum, and level 2 nursery required
