X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST / MAMMOGRAPHY

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday.
• 7:30 AM–2:00 PM.
• 30 guaranteed hours per week.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
• Must be willing to take call.
• Holiday and overtime policies apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures with appropriate technical judgment.
• Provide quality patient care while following departmental policies and safety standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control and OSHA standards.
• Maintain required competencies and continuing education for radiology and mammography.
• Assist with staff instruction or supervision when assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year of recent experience.
• Active ARRT (R) certification required.
• Active Massachusetts radiology license or proof of application required.
• Active BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must be available for call.
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off; all RTO must be disclosed at submission.
• Must be available to work two holiday periods if scheduled: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday blocks.

• Current X-Ray Technologist skills checklist (within the past year).
• One signed supervisory reference from the past two years.
• Active ARRT certification.
• Active BLS certification.
• Active Massachusetts radiology license.
• Permanent address and all RTO requests must be included in the profile at submission.
