Job Title: Business Development Expert

Location: Bellevue, WA

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Development Expert at our Bellevue, WA location to be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for certain industries, markets, products or partners and creating appropriate business plans that use leveraged engagement strategies.

Expectations and Tasks:

Drive the execution of growth plans across the target market for Software and Cloud environments. Provide support to Sales in the usage of indirect commercial models, supporting key opportunities. Effect the deployment and execution of Channel incentive models. Assist on complex indirect deal structures, including Cross-Border Deals, maintenance transfers, cross-country requests, Cloud Extension scenarios, multi-VAR competitive scenarios, Deal Registration, and Partner mergers. Liaise with Commercial teams, Deal Desk teams, and Global Programs to ensure timely introduction of new commercial models and frameworks. Closely align with OEC to ensure the compliant operation of the Partner programs, reflective of SAP's desired risk profile.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field of study and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field of study and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 5 years in the following:

• Manage projects and deliverables aligned to business requirements and go-to-market strategies using MS Project;
• Utilize analytics tools and Excel to manage partner rebate program;
• Deal consultation and reviews via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Configure Price Quote (CPQ);
• Design and document key simplification processes and new indirect commercial models via MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
• Create procedural documentation related to partner lifecycle topics using Mural, Camtasia, and Lucidchart; and
• Deliver reports and dashboards via data visualization tools including Cloud Reporting or SAP Analytics Cloud platform.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $135,512 - $202, 440. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $175,300 - $298,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
