We are currently seeking a full-time Emergency Department Physician to join our dedicated team and provide emergent care to the community and surrounding areas of Newton, Kansas. In this role, you'll serve within our 11-bed Emergency Department , part of a 99-bed hospital located in South Central Kansas. Our emergency room serves approximately 15,000 patients per year , offering the opportunity to practice high-impact medicine in a supportive and well-equipped environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality emergent care to patients of all ages
- Leading patient care efforts in alignment with NMC Health quality initiatives
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure comprehensive treatment and smooth transitions of care
- Participating in quality and process improvement efforts within the Emergency Department
- Three (3) twelve-hour (12) shifts per calendar week
- Includes alternating weekends
- Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine
- Licensed in the State of Kansas by the Board of Healing Arts
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred
- Base Salary: Per Contract
- Two- or three-year contract
