$18 por hora
Tiempo Completo, 40 horas + tiempo extra disponible
Primer Turno: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Lunes a Viernes

Como parte de nuestra línea de fabricación, el Pulidor de Granito adquirirá conocimiento del producto y entrenará con miembros del equipo para avanzar en operaciones de maquinaria.

Responsabilidades:

• Pulir materiales y piezas para corregir defectos o preparar superficies para acabados adicionales utilizando herramientas manuales y eléctricas
• Verificar la calidad del trabajo terminado inspeccionando, comparando con plantillas, midiendo dimensiones y marcando defectos para posible retrabajo
• Trabajar en equipo y apoyar a compañeros en otras estaciones cuando sea necesario
• Mantener el área de trabajo limpia
• Usar correctamente todo el equipo de protección personal (lentes de seguridad, tapones para oídos, equipo impermeable, mascarilla, etc.)

Experiencia Deseada:

• Experiencia como Pulidor de Granito
• Fabricación de mármol, granito y cuarzo
• Experiencia en construcción, industria o manufactura
• Pulido y acabado de materiales como vidrio, hierro, acero y piedra natural
• Operación de maquinaria (montacargas, grúa aérea, boom lift)

Conocimientos y Habilidades:

• Habilidades básicas de matemáticas (sumar y restar medidas)
• Conocimiento mecánico básico (herramientas manuales y eléctricas)
• Capacidad para levantar y cargar hasta 40 libras
• Conciencia y cumplimiento de seguridad

Requisitos Físicos:

Este trabajo requiere períodos intermitentes de esfuerzo físico continuo, incluyendo caminar, estar de pie, agacharse, subir y levantar materiales o equipos, algunos de los cuales pueden ser pesados o incómodos.

• Full-Time, 40/hrs + Available OT
• 1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Monday - Friday

• You will receive: Uniforms and Proper PPE
• Room for growth, with personal training to improve knowledge in fabrication and machine operations.

As part of our fabrication line, our Granite Polisher will gain product knowledge and train with team members to progress with machine operations.

• Polish material/parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand and power tools
• Verify the quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, measuring dimensions, and marking any defects for possible rework
• Teamwork, helping coworkers in other stations if needed
• Maintain a clean station
• Responsible for wearing all personal protective equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof gear, face mask, etc.)

Experience is desired as a Granite Polisher

• Fabricating Marble, Granite, and Quartz
• Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing fields, fabrication
• Polishing and grinding finish materials such as glass, iron, steel, natural stone, etc.
• Machine operations (forklift, overhead crane, boom lift)

Knowledge and skills required to be a successful Granite Polisher

• Basic math skills (adding and subtracting measurements)
• Basic mechanical knowledge (hand tools/power tools)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Safety Awareness

This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
