Medical Front Desk Coordinator

Job Description Fast paced dermatology practice with 3 locations (Tinley Park, New Lenox and Palos Heights) is seeking knowledgeable individuals with a strong work ethic who can learn quickly and multi-task. As a front desk coordinator you are the first person patients see when they come in, this makes you the face of the practice. Having a positive attitude and demeanor including smiling to greet patients is a must. Main functions of a Front Desk Coordinator Greet patients upon arrival Register patients for their visit as they arrive including collecting payments, insurance cards and photo ids and reviewing demographic information and registration notes. Process discharge of patients by collecting any additional payments, scheduling future appointments and directing patients to the in house pharmacy as needed. Assist scheduling department with call overflow Requirements Pleasant demeanor (you are the face of the practice) Reliable work ethic Ability to work evening shifts (12pm to 8pm) Ability to work Saturday rotation (7am to 12pm) We provide paid training and employee discounted services along many other benefits.
