Job Description Food Service Assistant Cook 5.5 hours each day Start Date: August 31, 2026 Responsibilities Knowledge of nutritional requirements of National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs as established by the USDA Based on written recipes, understand and prepare the daily menu, alternate menu selections, and a la carte items as planned Ability to understand and follow established HACCP, safety, and sanitation regulations Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, faculty and students to establish and strengthen professional working relationships Job Details Position Type: Full-time Job Categories: Support Staff > Food Service Job Requirements ServSafe Certified Ability to stand during assigned shift Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Access all coolers, freezers, and stockrooms for necessary items Citizenship, residency or work visa required Benefits Salary and benefits are consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Mansfield School District of the Town of Mansfield & Mansfield Association of Food Service Workers.
