DescriptionAbout the JobWe’re looking for a Hydrogeologist / Groundwater Modeller to join our growing Brisbane or Perth team and play a key role in delivering groundwater, water resource and mine water management projects across Australia.In this role, you'll combine strong technical capability with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to deliver practical, client-focused solutions. Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.What You'll DoActively contribute to hydrogeological conceptualisation.Carry out numerical groundwater modelling with advanced uncertainty analysis.Provide hydrogeological and technical insights across a range of projects.Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.Support the supervision of drilling and aquifer testing programs (this is not a FIFO role).Contribute to the planning, coordination and successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion.Assist in the preparation of proposals, contract documentation and technical specifications.Ensure work is completed within the provisions and guidelines of Worley’s Quality Assurance System.Implement safe work practices and maintain a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.What You'll HaveTertiary qualifications in Geology or Hydrogeology from a recognised institution.Experience in conceptual and numerical groundwater modelling.Experience with groundwater occurrence, abstraction, resource evaluation, water resource development and environmental impact assessment in Australia.Experience with geological and hydrogeological logging and mapping.Experience presenting hydrogeological information for engineering and/or approval purposes.Experience preparing high-quality technical reports.A current Australian Driver’s Licence.Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.Why Join UsWork on some of the most technically challenging and rewarding water projects across Australia and internationally.Be part of a highly experienced and collaborative team with strong technical mentorship and support.Enjoy long-term career development opportunities within a global organisation.Contribute to multidisciplinary projects that support sustainable water management and responsible resource development.Flexible working arrangements and a supportive team culture.Access to professional development, technical growth and leadership opportunities.Moving Forward TogetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
