OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Location: Downingtown, PA Timeframe: 26-27 School Year Snapshot: Austill's is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work 5 days per week with school age children in the Downingtown, PA area for the 2026-27 school year Incentives available! Peer mentorship and clinical manager support provided. Job Summary An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams. Responsibilities Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK-12) Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success Complete required documentation , including: Progress notes Data collection IEP updates and annual reviews Participate in IEP meetings as needed Support student development in areas such as: Fine motor skills Sensory integration Activities of daily living (ADLs) Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable) Requirements Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential Benefits Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling aligned with school hours Continuing education opportunities Clinical mentorship and support Streamlined documentation systems Access to healthcare and additional resources Leadership and advancement opportunities About Austill's Educational Therapy Services Austill's has provided school-based therapy services for over 40 years throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
