Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Pocatello, Idaho. Start date 08/24/2026 for a multi-week travel assignment on a 3x12-hour Nights shift in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $1,627–$1,686 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Onsite orientation: 24 hours. Charting: Epic. Population: Adults and geriatrics. Unit: Med/Surg/Telemetry, 48 beds. Trauma Level II experience preferred. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,627–$1,686 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: Weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: 48-bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit in a hospital Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients, including post-op recovery, sepsis, COPD, AKI, and trauma care; apply isolation precautions as required. Administer medications and IV therapies; start and maintain IV lines; manage central lines and wound care; monitor for complications and respond to changes in patient status. Utilize Epic for comprehensive charting; document assessments, plan of care, and progress notes; communicate with the interprofessional team to coordinate care. Assist with respiratory support as needed (nasal cannula, high-flow, CPAP/BiPAP); manage chest tubes, suctioning, and airway adjuncts as appropriate. Support pre/postoperative care and discharge planning; collaborate with PT, OT, Pharmacy, Social Services, and Rapid Response; participate in rounds and care coordination. Maintain safety and quality by adhering to infection control practices, facilitating rapid responses when indicated, and ensuring accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes.
