Our Customer Service Representatives are the friendly voice that connects riders to the services they depend on every day. What You’ll Do Answer incoming calls and book rides in accordance with demand response programs, including Medicaid NEMT and general public demand response Respond to inquiries from the general public in a friendly, compassionate manner Support Broker Services department staff as needed Assist the Broker Services Manager with volunteer driver coordination and scheduling Learn and work simultaneously across multiple software programs and screens Handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment while maintaining focus and accuracy Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Two (2)+ years of customer service experience; call-center experience a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities A positive attitude, high level of professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality (including HIPAA requirements) Comfort working with a diverse population and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google products or ability to learn quickly. Familiarity with transit route software a plus.
