As an Analyst I on the Customer Economics team, you’ll help shape the future of customer insights and marketing optimization by building models that forecast behavior and drive smarter decision-making. The Customer Economics team sits within the Marketing Analytics organization, powering acquisition-cost models and valuation frameworks that underpin how DraftKings invests in growth. You’ll dive into data to uncover patterns, steer revenue-driving strategies, and help cross-functional teams bring our models to life. From optimizing promotional impact to guiding retention strategies, you’ll play a pivotal role in making our customer experience more intelligent, predictive, and durable.

What you'll do as an Analyst I, Customer Economics

Build and deploy predictive models that forecast customer behavior and drive revenue outcomes. Translate complex model outputs into scalable solutions that teams across DraftKings can activate. Lead deep-dive analyses and cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Finance, etc. to turn insights into action across the business. Use data and industry insights to uncover growth opportunities and elevate our modeling strategy. Create automated tools, analyses, and dashboards that measure and communicate customer performance. Analyze customer retention and gameplay trends to inform marketing investments and vertical strategies. Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering to apply best-in-class practices using tools like Databricks, Airflow, and Bitbucket.

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline. At least 1 year of experience in business analytics or data science. Exposure to data science principles, including machine learning, regression techniques, and model evaluation. Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Airflow, and Bitbucket is a plus. Ability to leverage AI tools to turn our data into actionable recommendations with repeatable frameworks Practical experience with SQL/Snowflake and dashboarding tools. Python/R experience is a plus. Familiarity with marketing concepts and measurement frameworks is a plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 65,300.00 USD - 81,600.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
