About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in daily activities and promote independence in their homes.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders to ensure health and safety.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members for the best client outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in healthcare preferred.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
