Key Responsibilities\n

  • Maintain an active caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering therapeutic relationships.

  • Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, offer guidance, and modify treatment plans as necessary.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
  • \n
  • Carefully document client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment options.

  • Participate in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure adherence to professional standards.

  • Engage in collaborative efforts with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

  • Maintain a continuous growth mindset and stay current with therapeutic practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets youth clients, requiring sensitivity and an understanding of the unique challenges facing children and adolescents. Your work will involve helping clients cope with various issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges, which require a compassionate approach and skillful intervention.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

  • Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings.

  • Strong foundational understanding of psychiatric conditions and treatment protocols.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least one year of hands-on experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
