Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 2 years within the last 48 months (4 years).

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year experience required with 1 travel assignment.

Preferred Credentials: ONS preferred for chemotherapy administration.

Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Uses Meditech. Travelers work on the floor only. Telemetry monitoring is via central monitor; reading strips is not required. Common patient population includes acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, and end-of-life care. Outpatient patients may come to the floor to finish treatment if running late and the outpatient area closes.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays rotate with staff.

Floating Requirements: May rarely float to medical acute.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
