Job Title: 1st shift Bind Worker
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Location: Hebron, KY
Requirements of the Bindery Worker:
• Must be able to read and understand work orders
• Must have effective communication skills
• Must have EXCELLENT attendance history
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Must have high attention to quality and detail
• Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Will be required to stand for extended periods
• Repetitive bending and twisting required
About the Bindery Worker Role
As a Bindery Worker, your responsibilities will include:
• Will be trained and learn to set and operate small machines
• Hand work in spooking and putting spiral binders on books
• Operate stitcher
• Operate drill
• Operate coil maker
• Operate laminator
• Operate perf and crease machine
• Separate book blocks
• Inserting and building books
• Spiraling, glue, and tip-in repair
• Assist on a packaging line
• Boxing and unboxing
• Binding
• Rework
• Handwork including separating pages
