Thomas Electrical Inc., a company with a strong presence in the Southwest US, currently has openings for highly qualified CDL Driver and Dry Utility Field Technician. . A successful applicant will be able to:

• Safely haul and transport heavy equipment to and from job sites
• Operate backhoes and other equipment as needed
• Perform tasks related to dry utility installation, including trenching, conduit installation, and site prep
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries and job site activities
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols

A strong knowledge of the NEC and its recent changes, be able to work anywhere in the State of Arizona, pass background check and random drug screening, provide an MVR report, and supply references that can verify past experience and performance. If you feel you have a strong working knowledge of our trade, than Thomas Electrical Inc. may have a position for you.

Skills/ Requirements

• You must have your own basic tools of the trade
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
• Proven experience hauling heavy equipment
• Ability to operate a backhoe proficiently
• Experience in dry utility work (electrical, telecom, etc.) strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of DOT and safety regulations
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Additional heavy equipment certifications
• Experience with trenchers, mini-excavators, and related utility equipment

Compensation
Premium wages depending on experience. Benefit package includes medical/dental/vision insurance options, 401K, life insurance, disability insurance, sick and vacation time, and paid education. Vehicle provided pending good driving record.
