Your curiosity, drive to seek understanding, and ability to turn data into action will be essential in fostering a culture of data-driven excellence.In This RoleOwn the financial planning and analysis process for assigned departments, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking aligned with company goalsLead cross-functional financial initiatives, partnering with teams such as Art Studio, Sales, and Marketing to evaluate proposals and drive strategic decisionsDevelop and maintain advanced financial models and dashboards to monitor performance, identify trends, and flag risks or opportunitiesOwn the standard reoccurring reporting required by Sales, Art Studio, and other business areas as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate executionProactively identify areas for financial improvement, anticipate challenges, and recommend solutions before they ariseInitiate and drive deep-dive analyses (e.g., profitability, product line, customer segments) and present actionable recommendations to senior leadershipChampion process improvements and automation efforts to scale financial operations and improve accuracy and efficiencyPrepare and deliver presentations, financial materials, and ad hoc reports that influence business strategy and executionDemonstrate intellectual curiosity and understanding by asking thoughtful questions, exploring data from multiple angles, and engaging with stakeholders to uncover root causes and strategic insightsOther duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualificationsUphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team:Be open and honestReach for excellenceAct with responsibilityValue the whole personEnjoy the journeyPricing & Sales Program AnalyticsSupport pricing strategy and customer incentive programs, including pricing tiers, discounts, loyalty programs, rebates, and sales, commissions, ensuring alignment with profitability and growth, objectivesLead financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate pricing, actions, customer programs, and sales incentive structures, providing recommendations that optimize revenue and margin performancePartner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Master Data teams to ensure pricing programs, and customer incentives are accurately governed, executed, and reportedMonitor pricing, rebate, commission, and customer profitability trends, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and margin improvement actionsBuild and maintain customer, pricing, and sales performance reporting in Power BI, D365, and other reporting tools to support strategic decision-makingDeliver customer and sales analytics that support contract negotiations, segmentation strategies, growth planning, and leadership reportingContinuously improve processes, controls, and reporting capabilities related to pricing, rebates, commissions, and customer analyticsThe Ideal Person5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling companyDemonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities, anticipate business needs, and take initiativeNaturally curious, with a strong desire to understand the "why" behind the numbers and business driversStrong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and quantitative analysisExperience using data to create high-level insights and strategic recommendationsAdvanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), ERP systems, and financial platformsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly present financial information to all audiencesComfortable working under tight deadlines and managing competing prioritiesExperience mentoring or coaching others, even outside formal reporting lines, is a plusHeadquartered in Austin, Texas, since 1996, Four Hands crafts furniture, art and décor — pieces that are all about creating space.
