Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 or 10 hour days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: 1 year License: Active Physical Therapy license in hand Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: Understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication. Description: Start dates are not flexible. A 100-mile radius rule may apply. No more than 5 days of requested time off. Required case types include total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis. The caseload is 8-10 patients per day. Setting is acute inpatient. Areas covered include emergency department and medical-surgical units. Required experience is at least one year outside of clinical practice. PTAs are available. Scheduling is five 8-hour shifts with flexible weekend coverage 2-3 days per month or four 10-hour shifts. Self-scheduling is not permitted. Holidays are rotated. Scrub color is royal blue. Cancellation policy includes client cancellation of hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the assignment. The charting system used is EPIC. A BSN is required. Trauma level is 2.
