Personal Banker

About the Role The Personal Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. They acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring clients to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed. They also uncover and originate consumer lending opportunities, provide excellent client service by offering immediate acknowledgement and timely responses to inquiries, and engage clients and prospects in client and business financial reviews to uncover additional financial needs. They make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients, maintain direct contact with external and internal clients, and consistently provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the Bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. They open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients, act as a resource to the Client Service Specialists, and fill in on teller functions (including cash transactions) when needed. They support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to the appropriate internal business partners and resolve client issues and requests with strong follow‑through while building familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities. About You High School Diploma or GED, required. 1 year of Teller or other banking experience preferred. Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered. Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills. Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations. Proficient in expanding the client relationship with emphasis on creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships through personal and business rapport with customers. Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) license preferred. Will be a part of a bank that invests in you. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non‑discriminatory factors, including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, and details will be provided during the recruitment process.
