Associate Director for Campus Planning

Overview The Associate Director for Campus Planning leads, coordinates, and executes campus development projects from initiation through closeout. The role manages a portfolio of capital and space‑planning projects, ensuring delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget while aligning outcomes with university strategic priorities. The position oversees full project lifecycles, including scope definition, stakeholder coordination, resource planning, milestone development, risk management, and quality assurance. The Associate Director directs cross‑functional teams of internal staff and external consultants to deliver complex campus improvement projects on time and within budget. Success requires strong project management expertise, proactive problem solving, the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and consistent application of university design standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
