Civilian Pathologist Opportunity At Naval Medical Center San DiegoSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Pathologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California.Details:Great patient populationOut-patient clinicMonday through Friday, between the hours of 0600 and 1630 hours.Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5, 9.5 or 10.5-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30-minute or 60-minute lunch break, respectively.In no instance will the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) HCW be required to provide services more than 80 hours per two-week periodMay move between the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Naval Branch Health Clinic MCAS Miramar either weekly or more frequentlyNo nights, no weekends, no holidaysFreedom from malpractice insurance worriesSalary to be determined but employee or 1099 status available in range of $140-200 hrJob requirements:The position will have the following requirements:Board certification through American Board of Pathology in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Subspecialty certification preferred but not required.Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.Completion of graduate medical education program in pathology or a pathology subspecialty accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).At least five years of independent clinical practice required.BLS
