Lead Global Tax Accounting Consultant

RARE TAX ACCOUNTING LEADERSHIP ROLE AT COMPLEX MULTINATIONAL - This is an ideal role for someone with deep ASC740 experience to lead the global tax accounting process and consolidation on an interim basis at a multibillion dollar publicly traded highly complex company. UTILIZE PROBLEM SOLVING/LEADERSHIP SKILLSET - This consultant will play a key role in overseeing aspects of the global consolidation, supporting and advising on complex ASC740 tax technical issues in a highly transactional environment. SCOPE - This project will be a hybrid role, with hours ranging between 30-40 weekly on average. The project will begin as soon as possible and will go through year end close period. Company: Our client is a highly transactional, multibillion dollar, public company with over 240 entities globally. Key Responsibilities: Hands‑on in managing the global consolidated provision processes and handling day‑to‑day tax matters as needed Identify and advise on complex tax accounting and purchase accounting issues in a globally complex transactional environment Requirements: Experience overseeing the consolidated tax provision process in a publicly traded, globally complex environment is required Deep ASC740 knowledge with ability to be hands on identifying tax accounting issues related to spin off or other transactions Must have OneSource Tax Provision software experience Strong communication skills with the ability to align and partner with teams external to tax, particularly within the controller team Must be proactive and adaptable self‑starter with a strong track record of getting up to speed quickly in complex global companies Experience working both in-house and at Big 4 is preferred Experience drafting technical memos is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr TaxForce Inc.
