Are you an experienced  Nurse Practitioner  passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality patient care?

MinuteClinic is looking for a dedicated NP to join our  Knightdale, NC  team. You’ll work alongside a collaborative clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care, support wellness, manage chronic conditions, and help patients achieve better health outcomes.

️ Schedule

• ⏰ 32 hours per week
• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
• ️ Lunch break: 1:30 PM–2:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Works every other weekend
• On-call: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
• Possible holiday rotations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care.
• Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and routine examinations.
• ❤️ Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Perform diagnostic tests and health screenings.
• Provide health counseling and educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Promote preventive care and encourage patients to actively participate in their health and wellness.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive care plans.
• Manage appointments and patient follow-up.
• Assist with insurance verification and payment collection.
• Support clinic operations, including opening/closing and inventory.
• Utilize electronic medical systems and technology effectively.
• Practice autonomously while contributing to a collaborative clinical care team.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s degree from a  Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current national board certification
• Active NP license in North Carolina
• ⭐  Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as an NP in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care
• ✅ License in good standing with  no current or prior disciplinary actions
• Knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and practice autonomously
• Strong initiative, adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with information management and technology
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed

  Candidates must have prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience to be considered.
