Job Description Models Wanted: "Awkward Family Photos" Themed Photoshoot \n \n We're casting models for a photoshoot inspired by the iconic Awkward Family Photos look — think overly staged studio poses, silly/awkward poses, mismatched outfits, laser backdrops, and stiff, blank "trying too hard" expressions. Images from this shoot will be used in upcoming commercial, promotional, and product content. \n \n The Shoot \n Location: Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA \n Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026 \n Session length: 3 hours per group/session \n Compensation: $150 flat rate per person \n \n What We're Looking For: We're casting adult talent — young adults through grandparents — who can be grouped into "family units" for the shoot. Adult families and friend groups comfortable posing together are also welcome to apply as a unit. This casting is for adults only (18); we are not casting minors for this shoot. No professional modeling experience required — we're looking for good sports who can commit fully to the bit: think 90s mall-studio energy, silly poses, cheesy grins, weird props, and deliberately unglamorous charm. \n \n We want faces from every walk of life — all looks, all backgrounds, every adult range. Half the charm of a great family portrait is that nobody in it quite matches, so the wider the mix, the better these turn out. \n Ideal talent: \n \n \n 18 years or older \n Comfortable striking silly, over-the-top, or deliberately awkward poses on camera (stiff poses, deadpan stares, cheesy smiles, goofy group formations) \n Willing to wear retro/kitschy wardrobe provided or styled on set \n Available for the full 3-hour call, with flexibility for hair/makeup and setup time \n \n \n How to Apply: Send a current photo (a quick selfie is fine) along with your name and availability to this posting.
