Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with credentials valid for school-based practice
  • Experience delivering OT services in a pediatric, school, or educational environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual needs and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ motor skills, sensory needs, and daily functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions in accordance with IEP goals and educational objectives
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote student success across classroom activities
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and attend relevant meetings and case conferences
  • Provide consultation and support for classroom modifications, assistive equipment, and accommodations as needed
