Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer

We provide premium systems, services, and products for the Department of Defense, government agencies and commercial clients.

Seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to become an integral member of the engineering team dedicated to the development of military-grade electronics for the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) system.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and analyze components and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Create and maintain mechanical solid models and drawings
• Create and manage bills of material (BOM) within data management system
• Develop fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts
• Generate design and interface documentation
• Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer
• Participate in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis

What sets you apart:

• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or Creo modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
• Experience with ruggedized electronics packaging for shipboard applications a plus
• Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) a plus
• Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
• Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals

Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $107,520.00 - USD $119,280.00 /Yr.
