Job Summary This role goes beyond explaining last month's variance. You will help leadership answer the company's biggest questions: Where should we invest? How should we scale? What does growth look like over the next 12 to 24 months? Your financial models and planning will directly influence the decisions that shape the business. You'll join at an early stage where many of the systems, processes, and planning infrastructure are still being built. This gives you the opportunity to create and shape the finance function alongside company leadership. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Budgeting: Run end-to-end budgeting and planning cycles. Own the annual budget process, quarterly reforecasts, and rolling financial plans that keep leadership aligned on where the business is heading. Financial Modeling: Build, maintain, and continuously improve Excel-based financial models. Develop forward-looking forecasts that inform strategic decisions across the company. Data & Systems: Analyze and maintain financial data systems. Ensure data integrity, streamline reporting pipelines, and turn raw financial data into clear, actionable insights. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate crisply and directly to senior leadership. Identify key stakeholders, manage relationships across functions, and translate financial complexity into straightforward narratives. Process Building: Standardize workflows and stand up FP&A processes from scratch. You are the first of a function. Key to this role is developing processes that are designed to scale. High-Urgency Execution: Operate with a high-urgency mindset. When leadership needs something, you respond with speed and precision escalating, filling gaps, and delivering under tight timelines.
