Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse Location: Largo, MD Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 2423.31 - 2544.48 Schedule: 07:30 - 20:00 (3x12 Days) Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: RN MD state license, BLS, ACLS; 1 year of CVICU experience; 2+ years of CVICU/open heart experience; weekends and holidays as scheduled; floating within the specialty including IMC

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate post-op care for cardiac surgery patients, including vent management and chest incision management
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac Diagnoses such as CABG, valve surgery, CAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB with RVR, cardiogenic shock
• Administer and monitor therapies including Flo Trac, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and arterial management
• Collaborate during patient transfers and coordinate care for adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU setting
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:2, with adjustments when floated to lower acuity units
