Facilities Soft Service Specialist

Responsibilities As a Facilities Specialist , support all functions within the Soft Service group, including Janitorial Service (GXP & non-GXP), Pest Control, Cafeteria Services, Landscaping services, Space Management, & Fitness Center at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX. Ensure controlled cleaning logs and pest control are properly executed. Lead shift-to-shift communication sessions. On-board new personnel; set up email, qualifications, and training. Serve as department trainer and PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) trainer. Plan and schedule shutdown cleaning efforts. Review roles and responsibilities with new associates. Assist with monthly meeting agendas and communicate effectively with all groups within the Soft-Service team. Exhibit excellent teamwork and develop others using best practices. Build and maintain relationships with various departments and vendors. Lead others effectively and maintain inventory control for the Soft Service Group. Manage CAPAs for the Soft Service Group (pest control and GXP cleaning logs). Execute department score cards and ensure functionality of cleaning equipment. Communicate effectively with other departments and vendors.
