Lighting Technician

As a Lighting Retrofit Technician you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in customer’s facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Job Responsibilities Comply with safety policies. Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems. Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer’s facilities. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout service job/work order process. Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines. Qualifications And Education Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree At least 1 year of lighting and electrical experience. Lighting and retrofit experience preferred. Valid driver’s license Willingness to travel Must be reliable. Strong verbal and written communications skills Positive customer service skills NRLT, CSLT, and/or CALT Certification preferred. Physical Requirements Overnight travel may be required. Lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs Technicians will drive to multiple job sites daily. #J-18808-Ljbffr
