Responsibilities Support and enhance system and network security initiatives across research environments Partner closely with researchers and engineering teams to implement practical and flexible security controls Assist with security tooling, vulnerability management, and security posture improvements Evaluate and address risks while maintaining operational agility for research teams Contribute to secure development and infrastructure practices within cloud and software environments Perform security assessments and remediation recommendations across various platforms and tools Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support ongoing security initiatives Skills/Must Have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering or related cybersecurity roles Strong foundational knowledge of System Security, Network Security, Security Best Practices Experience working in flexible, fast-paced engineering or R&D-driven environments Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical stakeholders Salary
