Field Service Mechanic

Field Service MechanicCedar City, Utah, United StatesKimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of field service mechanic in our Cedar City location.Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries.Responsibilities:Daily work on crushers, screens, conveyorsInteraction with customers on-site for repairsDiagnose and repair various heavy equipment machinery Utilize all technical support resources in troubleshooting and identifying parts needed for repairOrganize and document service visits and travel as applicableAbility to work independently and effectively prioritize work with minimal supervisionInspect crushers, screens, conveyorsCleaning crushers, screens, conveyorsDrive motor vehicles - reliable transportation requiredQualifications:Crusher or heavy equipment experience preferredBasic knowledge of MSHA regulationsMust be able to lift 40lbsAbility to organize, prioritize, and multitaskFamiliarity with shop and field safety protocolsTechnical school certificate or equivalent experienceCommercial Drivers License (CDL) or ability to obtain a CDLCompensation and Benefits:Pay based on experience ($26.00-$35.00/hr starting)Full benefits include 401K, PTO (paid time off), health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
