SUPPLY STORE MANAGER, Clinical Affairs - Administration Location: Boston, MA, United States Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Salary Grade: $71,925.00 - $93,375.00 Responsibilities Manage a team of 14, including 10 Dispensary Assistants, 2 Supply Store Coordinators, 1 Supply Store Assistant and 1 Student Materials Coordinator. Oversee inventory levels of supplies, perform ordering, invoice reconciliation, department order fulfillment and purchase order set up. Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving for dental supply stock, ensuring accurate documentation and workflow. Coordinate emergency deliveries with the Transportation department and research special‑order delivery issues in response to end‑user complaints. Assist with unloading, unpacking, and storage of inventory items; notify departments of product movement changes. Verify and report item quantity discrepancies to the Director; conduct annual and cycle count events as directed. Deliver stock and non‑stock items to affiliated clinics, ensuring timely delivery of pick tickets and computer requisitions. Assist with loading and unloading of the department’s delivery truck; use pallet jack as required. Foster teamwork and provide excellent customer service to students, residents, staff, and faculty. Determine, approve, and monitor staffing needs; handle hiring, training, performance management, discipline, and corrective actions. Perform budget activities, including planning, preparation, forecasting of materials and resources, and monitoring in partnership with the Director using SAP reporting. Approve weekly timesheets, time‑off requests, absences, sick, and vacation requests to ensure adequate staff coverage. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 3–5 years of relevant work experience. Experience supervising staff or students, including hiring, firing, performance evaluations, training, and problem resolution. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with inventory management systems and SAP reporting preferred. Ability to manage budgets and maintain financial reports.
