Mid-Level Java Developer Location: Reston, VA Duration: 6 months, extension options Work Status: US Citizen or Green Card Interview: MS Teams or Skype Clearance: Public Trust - must NOT have spent a combined total of 6 months outside the US in the last 5 years Application Developer (Java/Batch) (32192) Client has partnered with a Federal Integrator to assist in identifying an Application Developer. The position will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Responsibilities: This is a high-priority software engineering role requiring the resource to: Produce estimates for new functionality or enhancements. Technical Design & Build for Java custom development solution. Report project status Track project risk/mitigations Review functional specifications and create technical designs for those specifications. Develop Java based web-services based on technical designs. Knowledge of Spring Batch framework for batch processing. Create and execute unit tests for developed components. Understand the impacts of changes in the software development life cycle and make recommendations. Required Skills: (proficiency must be noted for all; 2-3 CT) Batch Processing - P3 Advanced Java Programming language - P3 Advanced (Must have 5 years of Java to match the proposed LCAT) Restful API - P4 Expert Soft Skills/Personality Type: Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
