Packaging AssociateWe are hiring dependable Packaging Associates to support packaging and shipping operations. This position is responsible for preparing finished products, fixtures, furniture, parts, graphics, and other materials for safe shipment to customers or job sites.ResponsibilitiesPackage finished products and materials for shipment.Wrap and protect items to prevent damage during transportation.Apply labels and verify product information.Prepare boxes, cartons, and pallets for shipping.Verify quantities and ensure orders are packaged correctly.Use packing tables, tape guns, banding/strapping tools, and stretch wrap equipment.Assist with pallet jacks, carts, scales, scanners, and other packaging equipment.Follow packaging, safety, and material-handling procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area.RequirementsPrevious packaging, warehouse, production, or shipping experience is a plus.Comfortable using basic packaging tools and equipment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and ability to verify quantities accurately.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.Ability to safely perform the physical duties required for packaging and material handling.Must be able to lift 50+ lbs as needed.New Hire Orientation, PPE, Hazard Communication, ergonomic lifting, box cutter safety, packaging equipment safety, and safe material-handling procedures. Starting Pay: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Occasional overtime until approximately 4:30 PM First Day Start Time: 7:30 AM
