Experience with low-risk and high-risk labor and delivery patients

Description: 1st timers welcome. This position requires working every other weekend. On-call shifts may be required during low census. Patient ratios will be in line with staffing standards. The facility is a short-term acute care setting with 14 labor and delivery room beds and 1 operating room. The daily census includes 1-2 active labors and 5-8 postpartum patients. Candidates will be expected to provide care for neonates and adults. We admit patients with gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, twins, diabetes, and low-risk cases. Candidates will float within the hospital as needed. Transportation is a requirement for this role. Travelers should be prepared to work holidays as needed. Two references covering the last year must be provided. Candidates must complete compliance and background checks before starting the position. Completion of all required training modules is expected prior to commencement of work. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the assignment.
