Job Title: SENIOR CONSULTANT – TECH & IMPL City: Minneapolis Job Description: Manager – Nursing Focused Role Purpose Senior Consultants are able to leverage their experience to deliver discrete projects with minimal supervision. They demonstrate clear understanding of the client’s business issues, detailing and tailoring consulting solutions to generate maximum value through idea generation and engagement experience. The Senior Consultant must achieve high personal billability. Role Description The nursing-focused supply chain professional handles all high-volume med/surg consumables, ICU, ED, and infection prevention supplies—emphasizing breadth over depth. Drive SKU rationalization and product standardization across clinical areas. Lead nursing-focused value analysis initiatives and product trials. Manage high-volume product conversions (gloves, IV sets, wound care, etc.). Negotiate pricing for med/surg consumable contracts. Collaborate with CNOs, nursing directors, and infection prevention teams. Areas of Ownership Med/Surg: Gloves, syringes, IV sets, wound care, dressings, continence, respiratory therapy. ICU/Critical Care: Hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator circuits, enteral feeding, central line kits. ED: Trauma supplies, suture kits, splinting, airway management. Infection Prevention: Isolation products, hand hygiene, disinfectants, sterilization, SSI bundles. Nursing/Patient Care: Skin care, fall prevention, positioning, compression therapy. Other: Nutritional products, ophthalmology, rehab supplies. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain or clinical value analysis. 3+ years of managing med/surg and acute care categories—must be strong here. Experience engaging nursing leadership on standardization. Track record of delivering savings through product conversions and SKU rationalization. Mandatory Skills: Supply Chain Transformation. Experience: 5-8 Years. The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
