Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Truck Mechanic & Tire Repair Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks, as well as perform tire repairs and replacements on-site at customer locations. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer locations to perform on-site truck repairs and tire services. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on medium- and heavy-duty trucks. Perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, brake work, and minor engine repairs. Inspect and replace truck tires, including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs. Operate and maintain service truck, tools, and equipment in safe working condition. Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent accurately. Communicate clearly with dispatch, service managers, and customers. Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations. Qualifications Required: 1 year of experience as a truck mechanic, diesel technician, or tire repair technician preferred but not mandatory! Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in outdoor/roadside environments. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Basic computer/tablet skills for work order entry. Preferred: CDL license (Class B or higher) a plus. ASE Diesel Certifications. Experience with roadside/emergency truck repair.
