Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)The Opportunity: CACI is seeking an experienced and proactive Information Systems Security Officer to assist in the management of our organization's information security efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive information security program to protect our customer's data, systems, and networks from internal and external threats.Responsibilities:Prepare and update a Systems Security Plan that encompasses all aspects of all automated information systems utilized to support the programOversee the implementation of information security policies, procedures, and best practicesVerify all software and hardware installed and operated comply with the government's Security Certification Officer and COMM Program Security Officer (PSO) IAW the Program Security PlanPrepare and update the Equipment Security CertificationConduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilitiesDesign and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats, data breaches, and other security incidentsLead incident response efforts in case of security breaches or cyber attacksEstablish and implement a continuous monitoring plan IAW the customer's Cyber Security Office guidanceMaintain security approvals and accreditations IAW ICD 503 and the NRO assessment and Authorization process.Provide integration and support associated with existing customer automated discovery network mapping activities and tools.Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organizationProvide security awareness training to employees and stakeholdersStay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threatsQualifications:Must have current TS/SCI with polyUniversity Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in a related field7+ years of related work experienceProfound understanding of the Defense CounterintelligenceCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)Relevant experience with IT service, cybersecurity, and/or Program SecurityAbility to work closely with government partners, security counterparts, program managers, and offices within the Intelligence Community and other defense industry partners to ensure successful execution of program activity.Ability to work closely with internal cross-functional teams (Directors, Program Managers, Project Managers and Contracting Officers)Customer and team oriented and able to function with limited supervision.Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.Ability to implement strategic goalsEstablishes operational plans for technical areaDevelops and implements innovative products, processes, standards or operational plansWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
