**Education:** - Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing. - Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. **Experience:** - Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse. - Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations. - Previous charge experience. - Years of experience: 2. - Patient ratio experience: 5. - Charting system experience: Preferred. - EPIC experience required. **Licensure/Certification/Listing:** - Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state. - BLS (CPR) - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider. - Certifications: ACLS, BLS. **Skills:** - Blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management. - Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CVA (cerebrovascular accident), feeding tube care and management. - High flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE. - IV insulin protocols, manage cardiac drips- no titration, manage vasoactive drips-no titration. - Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management. - Oxygen administration, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, peripheral line care/management. - PICC line management, post MI, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery. - Pre/Post hemodialysis management, renal failure, starting and maintaining IVs. - Telemetry, telemetry - on the unit monitoring, telemetry - remote monitoring. - Titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, titration of insulin drips. - Tracheostomy care/management, use of rapid response/code teams, wound care/wound vac. - CVP & TR Band, dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG test. - All RNs, regardless of specialty, are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance; two attempts allowed. **Vaccines:** - COVID-19 vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions only. - Flu vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions only. **Additional Requirements:** - License in hand required with submission. - Local radius: 50 miles. No locals accepted. - All travelers are subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed.
