Budget Analyst

The purpose of this position is to perform professional work developing, monitoring, and administering the City’s budget. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of the annual operating and capital budgets, monitoring revenues and expenditures, providing customer support to other City departments, and development of ad hoc reports and analyses. Full time employees earn three weeks of vacation during their first year of employment and 10 hours of sick leave a month. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, finance, accounting, or related fields. One to two years of experience in a municipal finance role. A master’s degree may be considered in lieu of experience. Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License. Additional Information Typical work hours are 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, with a one hour lunch break.
