Regional Sales Representative Health Insurance

A fast-growing health insurance carrier is hiring Regional Sales Representatives in Phoenix, AZ. We offer level-funded health plans to small businesses with 250 employees. The company was founded in 2022, is scaling quickly across several markets, and has real room to grow. You'll build and manage relationships with licensed insurance brokers, show them our plans, and help them sell those plans to small businesses. You'll work under a Regional VP of Sales and have plenty of autonomy to build your own book. No sales or insurance experience is required. More than a third of the company's top-performing reps had never worked in sales before. We teach you the product and the process. We also pay for your Life & Health license training and exam.

What you'll do:

• Make 4050 outbound calls a day to licensed brokers (for your first 1218 months; the volume drops in year two as the work shifts to managing relationships)
• Build broker partnerships through calls, virtual meetings and in-person meetings
• Train brokers on our small-group products and sales process
• Put together health plan proposals and support deals from quote through implementation
• Keep CRM records up to date and share market feedback with leadership
• Travel within the region about 1520% of the time

Compensation: $50,000 base salary plus uncapped commission. Reps typically earn $7090K in their first year and $120140K in their second, with growth each year after that.

Requirements:

• People from high-volume, people-facing work: patient care, retail, hospitality, athletics/coaching, customer service or field service
• People who are comfortable representing something to strangers under performance pressure, whether that's a quota, a tournament, a patient outcome or a coaching record
• Self-starters who hit daily activity goals and like clear, measurable targets
• People who take feedback, think critically and act on it decisively
• Confident on the phone and in person, with strong verbal and written communication
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required

Schedule & location: In office MondayFriday, 8:00 am4:30 pm, at our office at 22601 N 19th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027. This is not a remote role. You must live within 35 miles of the office (a commute under 1 hour).

You must be willing to earn a state Life & Health license (training and exam paid by the company; no license needed to apply).
