Java Fullstack Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join the Real Estate Investing Tech Services team supporting a large financial client headquartered in Dallas. This hybrid role requires working onsite three days a week and offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact portfolio of investment and real estate applications.
You'll be responsible for supporting production environments, implementing regulatory enhancements, and modernizing legacy systems across 35-40 applications. This includes Java version upgrades, React UI refreshes, and cloud migration efforts. You'll also collaborate with infrastructure teams on AWS and Kubernetes deployments, and work hands-on with proprietary tools and MongoDB-based systems.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in Java J2EE and backend development
- Experience supporting production environments and regulatory enhancements
- React and TypeScript experience (approx. 40% of the role)
- AWS cloud experience (approx. 30% of applications are cloud-based)
- Kubernetes experience (80% of applications are on-prem)
- Solid database knowledge, including MongoDB and relational databases


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Exposure to cloud migration strategies and tooling (e.g., HashiCorp)
- Familiarity with proprietary tools such as Alloy Services
- Familiarity with investment services or real estate platforms
