OB/GYN Hospitalist | Knoxville, TN | Academic Practice | Predictable Schedule

Join an established OB Hospitalist program at an academic medical center in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role combines predictable shift scheduling with a high-acuity clinical environment, experienced physician support, and opportunities to teach residents, fellows, and future physicians.

Position Highlights

• OB Hospitalist program with more than 10 years of success
• Collaborative faculty of 7 OB Hospitalists and 1 Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician
• Academic appointment with opportunities to teach OB/GYN and Family Medicine residents plus MFM fellows
• Level IV Maternal-Fetal Care, Level III NICU, and Level I Trauma Center
• High-volume program with 5,100 annual deliveries and 2,700 GYN surgeries, including robotic procedures
• Opportunities for quality improvement, clinical research, faculty development, and mentorship
• Recently renovated physician lounge and sleep rooms for overnight comfort

Schedule

• Full-time option of 7 24-hour shifts or 14 12-hour shifts per month
• Predictable shift-based schedule
