We're looking for a Dental Assistant professional who will work closely with our Dentist.

Schedule (days/hours): Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Hygiene Assistant-busy office)

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before and after patient appointments.
• Assist dental hygienists during preventive dental procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Perform sterilization and infection-control procedures in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment and provide courteous patient service.
• Take and record patient information, medical history, and treatment notes as directed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Assist with dental radiographs when properly trained and authorized.
• Clean and disinfect treatment areas and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and notify the appropriate staff when supplies need to be reordered.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and workplace safety requirements.
• Communicate professionally with patients, dental staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have certs to be hired:
• cpr or bls
• x-ray license

Compensation: $18-$22/hr
