Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Description DOC Services Inc. is hiring skilled Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technicians. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC units and light commercial refrigeration equipment. Essential Functions Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC units and light commercial refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components; locate the source of the problem. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand and power tools. Provide daily reports and communicate regularly with store managers, regional DOC Supervisor, and the assigned office administrator. Adhere to OSHA and DOC safety regulations. Maintain company vehicles, including supplies and parts inventory. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED. EPA certification required. Minimum of 4 years experience in commercial HVAC/refrigeration. Ability and desire to be cross-trained on additional equipment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced phone apps. Ability to provide your own set of basic tools. Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed (rotating weekends). Working Conditions and Physical Requirements This position requires independent work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites, rooftops, and crawl spaces. Must be able to climb ladders and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) as required by the role.
