Details Located in the Cardiovascular Lab (Unit 744) on the 3rd floor of a hospital in Wichita, KS 4-bed unit staffed by 3 techs and 9 RNs per day shift, including 2 travelers 1:1 patient ratio Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM; no night shift Uses Philips Fluoroscopy equipment EMR systems include Mac Lab and Meditech; experience with either is preferred 13-week contract Requirements Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start) Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Typical procedures include cardiac drips, angioplasty, and stenting Mac Lab and/or Meditech experience is preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible First-time travelers are not explicitly mentioned as eligible; prior Cath Lab travel or acute care experience is emphasized American Traveler Job ID P-711684.
