Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a PCU Float position requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel nursing experience, with Epic charting experience strongly preferred.

Details

• Float position predominantly supporting Med/Surg units
• Night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours), 19:00-7:00
• Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Floating required to Med/Surg as primary assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required, license in-hand required before start
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS and Nursys documentation required for consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Must complete facility lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer or provide a completion plan

Additional Information

• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to accepting an offer
• Orientation includes completion of online training modules, averaging 2-3 hours
