Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable web applications using modern frontend, backend, and cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java and AWS , along with experience working across React, Node.js, and/or Python . This role requires an engineer who can take ownership of features end-to-end, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Candidates with experience in Asset Management or Financial Services are required, but industry experience is not required.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience .
Strong hands-on experience with Java .
Strong experience with AWS cloud services and application development.
Experience with React ; strong frontend expertise is preferred, but some exposure to React may be sufficient.
Experience with Node.js and/or Python for backend development.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed application architectures.
Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases .
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
Experience with Git-based version control workflows .
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.

Skills

Experience with serverless architectures .
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes .
Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library .
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
Experience in Asset Management, Financial Services, or related industries .
